Despite running several of our top Frosh-Soph runners up on the Varsity, the F/S team almost pulled out another win, falling by 3 points to Bolingbrook.

100 meter dash
Sylvestor Caulton ran 11.74 to finish 5th in the 100.
200 meter dash
Sandburg scored twice in the 200, with Collin Slattery taking 3rd in 23.05 and Sylvester Caulton grabbing 5th again with a 24.18 time.
400 meter dash
Jon Milazzo ran well to bring home a second place finish with a time of 53.29.
800 meter run
Freshman Chris Torpy continues to lower his time, winning the 800 in 2:00.61. Teammate Mike Brower also set a PR with a time of 2:09.87 - good for 5th place.
1600 meter run
Running away with the victory in the 1600, Tommy "the wrestler" Brennan pinned the competition with a time of 4:38.58. Grabbing a very solid 5th place finish, Dan Laskero finished well to run a 4:53.98.
3200 meter run
Going wire-to-wire for the victory in the 3200, Greg Burzinski won by nearly 30 seconds with a time of 9:45.44. Freshman Max Lehnhardt nailed down 4th place in 10:33.99.
110 meter Hurdles
Ja'Khari Person hurdled his way to sixth place with a time of 18.00.
4 x 100 meter relay
Bringing the baton around in second place was the relay team of Collin Slattery, Josh Scheidberg, Dean Yozze & Sylvester Caulton with a time of 45.06.
4 x 200 meter relay
Mixing up the order slightly, Collin Slattery, Josh Scheidberg, Sylvester Caulton & Dean Yozze came back to easily win the 4 x 200 relay with a winning time of 1:33.87. Nice job on both relays guys!
4 x 400 meter relay
Winning the 4 x 400 relay was the team of Jon Milazzo, Chris Torpy, Tommy Brennan & Collin Slattery, cruising to a time of 3:35.91.
4 x 800 meter relay
Finishing second here was the squad of Tommy Brennan, Brady Walter, Matt Benz-Weeden & Brian McMahon with a time of 8:37.21.
Long Jump
Scoring in two places here, we had Zac Fijolek finishing 2nd with a jump of 18' 2.5" and Gino Bertucci capturing 6th with a leap of 17' 10".
Triple Jump
Zac Fijolek proved to be even more successful in the Triple Jump, with a winning jump of 38' 11.25" (to win by 3/4 of an inch!). Coming thru with a big third place jump of 38' 0" was Ethan Lim.
High Jump
Scoring 18 points for the team with a 1-2 finish in the High Jump, we had Tommy Demogerontas with a winning jump of 5' 11" and Jubreel Brown clearing 5' 9" for second place. Great job by booth of these jumpers!
Shot Put
With a solid performance in the Shot Put, Matt Frostman placed 3rd with a toss of 40' 2". One place behind him was Riley Lyvers with a heave of 39' 3".
Discus
Matt Frostman grabbed another third place finish as he spun the discus out 115' 3".
